Got a question for you guys. I've watched more than posting, and decided to pose a question to those more knowledgable than I. How many have seen/physically laid their hands on a Golden Anniversary edition of the Model 39. My 1st exposure was about 8 years in a pawn shop. I saw a nickel plated 39, with the squirrel carved in the butt stock. Initially I didn't know what it was, so I went home and checked it out in my Dad's Blue Book. After reading up on it, I went back and purchased it for the exorbitant sum of $175 (I think I got a fair deal! :p ). In about 35 years of going to gun shows, I've only seen 1 other, and that was in someone's collection in GA. I did finally see a 3d one this summer at the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum in Cody, WY, and it was on loan from the Marlin factory.

How many have you guys seen?

Thanks

Mike
