Hey. I was just seeing if anyone here has had any experience buying online products at thegunsource.com? The only place I've ever had bad experience with when it comes to buying online is EBAY.COM. Been ripped off there a few times.
Just want to know how your time went at gunsource.com.

Well, Ebay.com is hardly a good comparison to an actual online shop. Ebay is, of course, an online auction, so you're dealing with millions of buyers and sellers.
With gunsource.com you'd be dealing with one seller, and that seller needs to have good buisness practices to stay in business, or he ends up broke.
Ebay is a ton of casual sellers, who may or may not give a crap if you liked the 'customer service' the provided.
I've not purchased from gunsource.com but am pondering it, as they have $18 SIG pro 9mm 15rd mags.
But I have bought a lot of stuff online over the years, and by and large, it's like buying at any retail shop...most of the time its a good experience, but you inevitably end up at a crap place once in a while.
If you're really wary, call them and place your order over the phone, or just to ask about the potential sale. Judge the character of their company that way, since an online store front is too cold and impersonal for that sort of judgement.

I decided to reply to this, as I've placed an order with www.thegunsource.com.
I can't say I'm very impressed, at all, with the way they've handled my order so far.
I placed my order in the morning on Dec. 28, a Wednesday.
They finally got my order processed and shipped on January 5th, a Thursday.
Never was a given any choice on shipping method..so when I got my shipping confirmation, its plain old USPS.
When I try to track my order, all I am told is that it can't tell me if USPS has even picked up my package on the USPS site, and on gunsource.com's tracking site, it tells me that the USPS hasn't even scanned it into the mail system yet.
lame.

firtst, I've not delt with gunsource.com specifically. However, I recently got back into and old hobbie, and needed to get some new current gear. I did some on-line research, found the great prices and placed the order....
My point, after dealing with Cabelas for almost all my on-line ordering, these other outfits seemed very crud. Long lead times, poor on-line communication....
I got just what I ordered, toook longer than I expected... I think the likes of Cabelas have many of us spoiled, I know I have been!!
This isn't a jab at anyone, just pointing out that my on-liine shopping expectations are very high, due to experience of outfits like cabelas...

Ok, I must do my due diligence. I just opened my www.thegunsource.com purchase...it came today, even though I never could really track it...but that's more on USPS service than gunsource's.
I orded my TW25B grease from Mil-comm on the same day as my gunsource order, and both arrived today, one from UPS, the other from USPS...USPS ended up shipping faster, but gunsource did sit on my order for 8 full days. Granted this 8 day span did fall over New Years, and I have no idea how big of an outlet they are...for all I know it's a husband/wife team with a garage full of gear, and good prices.
On a side note, the 15rd mag I got was indeed a factory mag, and about 45% cheaper than any other online store where I found it...so I'll have to pickup a second mag...I may call instead of order online to see how/if it affects processing time.
I too hold customer service as #1 importance when shopping online. It does me no good to save money if I lose sleep and hair stressing over a bad experience. Had a lot of good experiences with my other hobbies, so perhaps I hold a little too high a standard sometimes.
