Also a great way to show people that even if a vest stops a bullet, that doesn't mean it won't do any damage.

I just read all of his tests. MAN! He's having some fun. Pretty interesting, to say the least. I'm sure people not familiar with military topics will find the vest results a bit suprising. Despite what popular media sells, few of us would stand up and shake the dust off immediately after being hit with a large caliber round. Some of those shots look like they would not only break ribs, but potentially do some serious organ damage.

I need more money, more spare time, and more people sending me stuff to shoot!!

That is one lucky guy! I wish my life was half as cool as his!

A young female police officer was shot and killed in Quebec a few days ago. The reporting was muddled, to say the least, but the police said it was a .338 of some type. One of the points that hasn't been made clear is whether the bullet hit her vest or below it. I'm wondering if the vest did more harm than good with a cartridge of that power?

We just had a young man go to jail here in Idaho. Him and his buddy found a vest of some type and thought is was a bullet proof vest. After a couple of cases of beer they decided to try it out. One of them put it on and told his buddy to shoot him.

After the shot he discovered it was not a bullet proof vest and the center chest shot went right thru both sides of the vest and the idiot wearing it. Sad story, but the shooters new address is the Boise state pen.

I don't know if there is a moral to this story except that were all probably better off with both of these folks where they are.
