Hey Gents.
I haven't been around in awhile. My Guide Gun came and went. I loved shooting the 45-70 but the Marlin just didn't do anything for me.
I'm getting the itch for another 45.70. My dealer has a new Winchester 1886 Extra lite on the rack for $749 that I am seriously considering.
What do you think of the gun and the price?
I note these are not listed on Winchester's web sight.

Get it and you will never look back! I have one like it and it is a shooter and very well made.

Picked it up yesterday and shot it today. I'm very pleased. A very well made and great shooting 45-70.
