Made my way out to the back 40 the other day to hunt some coyote and picked a nice set not far from a snowmobile trail. Did a little mouth calling and sure enough a nice coyote came trotting right down that hard packed trail and followed it right to me and the rest is history. Never pass up an opportunity to use something that will make the coyotes life easier. That coyote could have taken a shorter more direct route and maybe seen me or caught my scent, but then he would have had to fight with the loose snow and he wasn't about to do that!

Sounds good! I'd like to get out and do some calling, but we haven't actually been having winter, we've been having rain. Hopefully it'll snow soon.
