Has anybody here used this load on elk, moose, bison, bear, etc. How was the bullet performance, did the hornady bullet penetrate, or come apart?

While I have not used the PMC load, I have used a similar handload with the Hornady 350 on caribou and brown bear. The bullet performed well, I have not recovered one. The brownie was hit in front of the on shoulder, the lungs were poofed and the off shoulder broken before the bullet went off into the trees. One dead bear. The caribou were hit in the heart/lungs and while expansion was not excessive they died quickly. It is a very good bullet IME. You don't always need a premium $3 bullet to kill animals.....
