Old couple sat watching TV. Wife says "You know, I'd really like some ice cream." Husband says "OK, I'll go get it for you." "Better make a note so you don't forget what you went for" she cautions. "Not to worry - I'll remember," he replies.
"Since you're up, could you put some strawberries on the ice cream, too?" "Sure, no problem." "Now, you'd better write that down, you know how forgettful you are!" "I'm telling you, I can remember to put strawberries on your ice cream!"
"Well, if you can get all that, would you put some whipped cream on it, too?" she asks. "you bet - ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream topping!" he says.
20 minutes later he comes back from the kitchen with a platter of bacon and eggs. "See," she screams, "you forgot the toast!"
"Since you're up, could you put some strawberries on the ice cream, too?" "Sure, no problem." "Now, you'd better write that down, you know how forgettful you are!" "I'm telling you, I can remember to put strawberries on your ice cream!"
