Anyone else have the new 2006 Ruger catalog?
The "bespoken", GOD I love that term, #1's with case colored receivers and engraving look pretty tempting...with the exception of that bevel hole around the action screw. I wonder if the wood upgrades that are available with the Gold Label are available for the No. 1 as well?
It nearly makes me ill to see Winchester in the shape they are in...guess that is what you get when you are a company owned by a country that knows only how to drop unfired rifles. Remington is in less than good shape also....I guess Ruger is the only company that can keep it together with USA designed and manufactured firearms....with the very, very notable exception of Savage and Marlin. I guess I won't feel so bad if I have to buy a M77 and put a trigger in it....since it might be the closest thing I can have to a M70 for a bit....unless it's a Model 1999 from www.montanarifleman.com
