ANy of you used data from Handloaders Load Data service?

For $25/year you can have access to beaucoup loads. Was wondering if it was worth it?

Why not just buck up for the $600 set of DVD's with a searchable archive for every handloader issue ever published? :)

I wish they would bring the price down to about a third what it is currently so I could consider it.

I have used some data from that site as I had a free trial when I susbscribed to Handloader/Rifle/Succesful Hunter.

I have most of the loading books so I don't feel the need to subscribe to the site, but you can never have too much data (unless you are trying to cut down on the rifles you have to have, looking at reloading books is what gets me) and $25 a year barely amounts to the cost of one loading manual...so it's probably a pretty good value from that standpoint.

I use it, they have some stuff there that isn't in the manuals. Haven't had any problems with any I have tried. But I print them out and put the ones I use in a binder. Some of them aren't from the magazine, some are loads people have worked up and submitted. Les

Just buy Ken Waters' "Pet Loads." That and "Wildcat Cartridges" (Wolfe Publishing) and you've got scads of loads, both conventional and wildcat.

PS With Pet Loads, though, you might be frustrated that they don't make Super-Vel powder (or some such thing). That being said, the data are great.

I subscribe to LoadData. There is a lot of material there but I wish they included pressure information with their loads. Seems like they could afford pressure trace equipment for what they are charging for the material.

Load Data is always being upgraded. They will list the number of loads that have been added since you last logged on. There is a wealth of information there. Trying finding loads for 6mm-06 and the likes elsewhere. It would be great if the old Handloader issues were available on that or another site. Load Date is a great value for the bucks. :D

I subscribe to load data about six months ago, well worth the subscription fee
and the notebook they sent for keeping print-outs in is nice too
