I found this on another fourm. Try at your own risk. It worked for me, but I'm not you.
Simple to find a starting load. Light recoil. Accurate in some of my rifles, really accurate in others.
1) with an empty case fill with Blue dot powder to the top. Level off. Weigh for total. Repeat two more times to get the average.
2) with the total multiply by 40%. (Load X 40 %= start) This will be the starting load.
3) Load as normal.
I went up to 45%. The link says you can go up to 50%. I tested at 1 gr increments untill the neck sealed and the groups got small.
Bullet weight didn't make much difference at 50yds.
Primers showed no sign of high pressure. Shells were also fine.
Great load for old rifles and kids.
Remember!!! Try at your onw risk. As with any type of reloading, start with the minimum load and work up slowly.
Let me know what your results are.
