View Full Version : Any Feedback on Midway Dogtown Bullets
I am considering trying some Midway Dogtown bullets for my 22/250 in both 50 and 55 grain weights. I was just wondering if anybody has had any good or bad experiences with them. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, da V.

I usually shoot V-maxes and Ballistic Tips out of my 223, I would have to be a LOT of volume shooting before I switch to a budget bullet, For all the more they cost, I figure thier reputation is worth it. where are you from in PA

Sierra 55 grain spitzers work best in my 22-250. Can't complain with one whole groups and 350 yard crow kills with no doping.

I'm going to the 55 grainers myself in my .223 if I can't get ahold of any 55 grain winchesters. Would be nice to find out if'n anyone else has tried them. After reading the reviews on Midway I'm going to get some anyway.

I think the Midway dogtowns are Remington PSP's not sure, but my dad got some and they are real similar. Les
Thanks for the imput everybody. Just thought that I would try some for the sake of research, not to mention an excuse to get out to the range. I guess i'll have to try some for myselfand see how they they group in my gun To jb12string I haunt a little corner of PA called Limerick, ****, I could almost spit and hit the nuke plant from my front door. I can only assume that you are a chuck hunter, it would be great to swap some war stories.

I've shot both the 50 and 55 grain Dog Town bullets in .222 and 22-250 and they are fine. Look like standard issue SPs, flat base. I suppose you can certainly find better and pay more, but for the price they are just fine. Will I buy more of them? Yes.
