Hi guys,
Ive got a .22 semi auto that Iam running with a silencer, being using CCI subs with great results with both on game and accuracy results.Only problem is after 50 odd rounds I notice a big power build up and and usual action problems as a result, it all goes away with a good clean but wondered if you guys have found a brand that seems to leave less residue that others.
I know subs tend to leave power residue as a result of less heat and burning of powers and gases etc, but wondered if some brands are better than others??

Not that I've found. Aguia's powederless load is a bit cleaner (the priming compound has a bit of a stink to it) but the little 20gr. bullet at 200fps slower than a CB isn't nearly as accurate or useful as the regular CB's.

Since your having good success with what you have, I would keep using it and just run a Hoppes Bore Snake through it every 30-40 rounds. Takes less than a minute to do.

You might want to try something that is "supersonic". Higher pressure will sometimes make stuff burn cleaner. Most rimfire stuff can be rifle specific?
