Hi, Jethro:
* I can't help you with a schematic, but most old pump guns used a wood dowell that fits inside the magazine spring. About 3/8" works well. You don't want a tube diameter dowell that compresses the spring when the magazine is empty. Cut the dowell a bit long and try it, then shorten as necessary.
As my old blacksmith said, "Cut it off twice and it was still too short". <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
Bye
Jack

Gentlemen,
Sorry to have been absent here, but have been working non-stop on lots of fronts. Bullets being the foremost, and this website the second. One of the features you'll find go online with the new website tomorrow, is a remake of GuNuts! It will be totally interactive, much like LoadSwap.com, where you can add schematics and exploded view drawings of firearms from a very simply interfaced control panel. It won't have any member mumbo-jumbo, and uploading a scanned image will be quick, easy and hassle free, for situations just like this where someone needs a schematic, chances are someone else will too, at a later time. This will provide for an ever increasing and more comprehensive resource for everyone. We think you'll like the changes!
Better go make a bullet!
God Bless,
Marshall
