I have a few questions on the Thorniley stopping power measure.

(1) What is the correct spelling of his name? I see both Thorniley and Thornily on the Ballistician's Corner page.

(2) Has Thorniley published his experiences anywhere? I would love to read more. It sounds like he has experience in both North America and Africa. I have searched the web for a book or magazine article and haven't found one.

(3) What measures did he use to evaluate the stopping power of a projectile?
