I have a Winchester 94 Big Bore in .375 Winchester.  The lever rattles when the gun is shaken.  Is there any way to tighten up this "slop" in the action.  Any advice would be appreciated.

All humor aside....the 94's have always rattled..it's the nature of the beast. If one looks at the design, they will see that all the guts, when the lever is down, hangs from the lever pin. This is not really bad, since the design has proven to function under the worse condition. It's just one of those things we live with when we understand the nature of the beast.

James, now that you mention it.... my '68 Bronco rattles like a dump truck full of marbles... and it's still going strong!
