So I was driving from Duluth to Minneapolis today and passed a van pulling a trailer with a pair of 4 wheelers on it. In addition to the 4 wheelers, were 3 bores and an animal that had a rack the size of a... i don't know it was a big rack. They had it tarped so i couldn't see what it was, only a few of the points of the rack were poking through... Needless to say it was an impressive site...

but my questions is where were they hunting? They were headed south, but to the best of my knowledge we don't have hogs here in MN, and certainly not of that size. And its definately not deer season either...

if anyone can take a guess as to where they might have been, please let me know... thanks

Probably feral hogs. We have them down here in Illinois. Domestic animals that get loose. The bad thing about pigs is they are hardy and can survive just about anywhere, and are destructive. No season on them or anything here. I have a friend who has timber running along a small river and it is infested with them. They go out a couple times a year and hunt them. They are LARGE and dangerous if wounded load accordingly.
