This may seem a trival question ,but, what are suggestions for cleaning the chamber on a WInchester 94.I wish I could find a 90 degree brush. I've experimented with a couple of bent brushes but can't get far enough into the chamber. All suggestions welcome.

Get yourself a bore snake and be done with it. Will do the cleaning and oil your barrel all in one pass. No need to take the gun apart or to use a bent brush. They have them in all sizes for .17 through all the shotgun guages. Works great.

Thanks. That was too easy.I own several snakes.Never gave it a thought to use one on a lever.
Another option is to use the Otis flexi-rod. I don't have a problem with contact with the crown, and you do not need to purchase an entire cleaning package / kit.
Save some money for ammo and get the components you need:
- flexi-rod (correct length, with both ends female thread)
- slotted tip
- bore brush
- t-handle
- otis patches
The patch system works very well and can be used up to 6 times. Check out the otis site for some instructions and videos on proper use.
eta: I guess bore snakes would work if you ran them through a wash cycle between each use, otw you are running dirt through your bore many times.

I have three different bore snakes for different caliber guns, and have always got it clean in one pass. No patches to buy and no brushes to put on and take off.
I thought this comment from The High Road was kind of funny.
If you get a clean boresnake dirty by running it through a dirty gun, then shouldn't the opposite apply? To clean a dirty boresnake, why not just run it through a clean gun?
