I've come across a Bayard 16 gauge side-by-side exposed hammers. *Checkering on wood. *Scroll work around screw heads. *"Demi Bloc" on each barrel at breech. *Knight on charger above every "Bayard." * * *Can't find out when or where it was manufactured, and have no clue as to its value. *Also, will steel shot damage it?--Thank you for your help!
