Hi,
I just bought a used Beretta 687 O/U, 12G, 28". The question is, is there someplace where I can find out the year it was made and the model.  It's an older gun with double triggers and some scroll work, it's a field gun and it might be a silver pigeon?  Any help would be greatly appricaited. It definitely sounds like you have a standard 687 Silver Pigeon. That makes it at least a '94 or older. The Gold and Diamond Pigeons had must more ornate engraving and finer walnut. They really stick out. Beyond that, I'd say contact a Beretta collector website for more detailed information like year of production, etc. Wish I could be more help.
