Just swapped for a NIB 1895 Marlin 45-70 but don't have it yet. Going to be using blackpowder loads and wanted some feedback on the 450gr cast Lee (or similar) bullets in this rifle. What's the max OAL I can have and still function? Use these in my highwall but don't have feed issues on this one. All comments welcome.
