I purchased a Guide Gun in 450 Marlin. I was toying with the idea of a 92 in 454 or 480 Ruger but although slightly heavier the Guide Gun can sling heavy lead faster than the other 2 if necessary and I can load down to their level of power or even lower for just plain fun at the range. Does anyone load the 425 gr. Beartooth bullet in 450M? Can I use low end 45-70 data as a starting point? I'm thinking of around 1600 fps for starters. Thanks.

I've been working on the 425's in my 450 Marlin. I used a load that was suggested by Load From A Disk software and have documented the work here. I've been tied up for a few days but plan to finish very soon...
