Have any of you tried Hornady's 180 grain hollow point pistol bullet in a 35 Marlin. If so, was the bullet accurate, did it cycle in the rifle OK, or did it engage the rifling before the bolt was closed? Did you have any problems with the bullet coming apart or the jacket separating from the lead?

Thanks in advance, Taylor

I've used some 158 gr. Hdy. bullets to make plinking loads for a 35 whelen. They worked fine for target practice out to 100 yds. I only loaded a few...not a real test and no use on game. But they shot fine for offhand practice. Just use the book loads out of the Hornady manual.
