I reload 30 Caliber M1 Carbine for my M1 and Automag III.
I have in the past used a 7.62 65 grn JHP, originally made for the 7.62 x 25 Tokarev. Have not had any luck in finding any more of them. Anyone know of a supplier ??

I do a lot of shooting with tehGI Carbine,but never considered using a 65 grain bullet that,I think is cal 311.
Would you give me a general rundown on what I should expect when I try?
Thanks,
Frank

I shoot the JHP's out of my Automag III. still lots of flash and boom, but much easier to control in a pistol for follow-on shots...have never tried it in the carbine, but given the variations that one can find in military loads (tracer, ball, etc), I dont see any reason why they wouldn't work....I have never slugged out my M1's barrel. I have a Standard Products (albeit with a Blue Sky (I think) re-import mark)

OldChief;
I believe that 71 grain jacketet round noses are still available from Remington, and Winchester. They are the stock bullet for the .32 ACP.
