Hoping for some advice fellas. I have installed the DRC version of the XS Ghost ring system with wings as well as the scout scope base on my guide gun.
Any recommendations on what height rings to get for the scout scope? I like the look of some of your guys' pictures featuring the low height, but will the lack of height interfere with the sight picture when you pull the gun up?

Thanks in advance

It should not. If the stock is set up for open sights the lower you keep the scope the easier it is to use. High mounted scopes that make you lift your head to use are often uncomfortable unless you have a long neck.

I've got a friend whom is a big tall gangly fella and he likes the higher rings.

I dont have an answer to your question, but I have a question for you. How do you like the XS ghost ring system, besides the hight problem? and how is the night visability with the wings compaired to no wings?

I installed the low Warne quick detach rings with a Leupold IER 2.5 Scout Setup. No interference with the sight picture at all from the ghost rings.

Big_Bore, I don't have anything to compare them to but the wings on the XS ghost rings don't appear to cause any visibility problems that someone may encouter @ dusk or dawn.
