Had to go Denver this past week to look at new loaders to move overburden at the mine. On the way back when we were almost to the Eisenhower Tunnel we spotted these guys right along I 70. To me it made the whole trip worht while. Well that and dinner at a local micro brewery over by Coors Field.

I lived in Littleton, CO for nine years during construction of a dam in Waterton Canyon a few miles south. The big horn sheep got quite comfortable with people during the construction process. I once had one walk within ten feet of me out in the open. I had two impressions: first, it was a beautiful animal (like your photos) and second, it stunk to high ****. The thing smelled like it had spent its life rolling in dung.
Those are great photos you've got. Thanks for sharing.
