Well after reading the Coyote tread this morning, I desided to go out and try my luck. Found a good amount of sign, including some dreadlocks that one rubbed off. I saw lots of deer sign. One set was a doe w/ 2 fawns, I also found 2 sets made by bucks. One was fair sized, but the other set was very large. I gotta get out w/ my recurve. I need the practice. No rifle in this area. Shotgun is an option. It was the perfect day, it rained all day yesterday, and more this morning. Everything was nice and fresh, no pooled water, crisp edges, clods kicked up. I guess scouting has started. I also kicked up a few grouse. It was a good day. JP
