What size 45/70 bullets do the H&Rs prefer? I am shooting .460 in my guide gun, but .459 shoots accurately too. Does someone have experience sizing cast bullets for the BC? I am about to order some 425gr from Marshall.

My Buffalo classic likes the .459 hard casts. Haven't needed to try 460's as the 459's Are shooting sub MOA.

My Buff Classic also loves the .459 diameter. The 460gr. Cast Performance WFNGC shoots real good in it.

I'll vote for the .459" too! My Handi does very well with .459" at 100 yards, usually grouping close to MOA.
