Got to the range with a little better light (about 4:00). I put 6 targets up horizonally at fifty yards and settled in to try and shoot a decent target. I shot several and blackened the front sight and finally get a decent one, for me anyway, all at least within the black. I proceeded to shoot all six targets taking my time and wrap up to head home. When I go to pull the targets the only one with all the holes in the black has 6 holes in it and the one to it's right only has 4!!! AGGGGHHHHH!!! You guys didn't tell me in addition to needing the eyes to shoot these targets you have to be mentally equipped!!!!
I guess I'll just have to keep doing it till I get it right! ( That's probably why I married a teacher!) :rolleyes:

It is a mental work out, ain't it! I have so much to do but the range calls and I have to go. My priorities are just a bit tainted every year until I get a few targets in to Michael.

Oh! Michael. By the by. Is the new helper doing any good at getting those targets from the mail or are you having to perform those duties?

Hello Riflemen-Are there any posted early results to this match yet? something to make me sweat a little while I'll sticking cartridges together. I'm winning the bench 100 yard shoot this year and need some frame of reference. thanks, and Life is good, BestLever

The gauntlet has been cast, once more. The gloves are off, already. Let's see those targets. I can't wait for the nose to heal and I can get 5 on the paper for the offhand match. This has been a long time coming. A true test of our hunting and shooting abilities.

Through this weekend, I've received 8 entries in the "Bench-Open Sights" Match... we need 10 to open it.

I have a few targets for the B-OS match, not much in the way of impressive. I plan on shooting a few more before I send them in
