I am checking into a online trade for a Mod 64 lever that has a picture of a straight stock and a forearm that has a barrel band with the sling clamp on the tube mag. My books all show a pistol grip stock and a forearm cap. Can anyone tell me if this could be factory? Thanks.

The 64 is another version of the 55 which did have a straight stock. I don't know of a 64 with a straight stock. The action would have to be different also for the straight lever. All 64's that I know of have the pistol grip stock and the curved lever. Can they get you a pic with the model number showing? Maybe they have the picture mixed up with another one. Just a thought.

Thanks Gismo. I'll do some more checking before I deal. I was kind of hoping someone would say they made a very few of the straight stocks and they were very rare. I didn't want to say anything to the seller unitl that I checked.
