ANyone used Trail Boss yet for light recoil 30-06 loads?

Just got my son a 30-06 for his bd and wanted to start him out on some light loads. I can use H 4895, but have been hearing good things about Trail Boss and how it fills the case for the CAS boys.

I'll let you know. Found some Trail Boss powder yesterday...tough to find.

I can use between 13-19 grains of Trail Boss under a 125 gr bullet. It fills the case very well.

This stuff is very low density...9 ounces fills up a normal 1 pound powder container to the brim!

Will load some and try this weekend.

Nice to see how these loads work out. I have some large bore rifles, (.458 African Mag) I would like to try with "Trail Boss".

They shot very well...little recoil. Haven't chron'd them.
