im not sure if i have already posted this,but I have a bullet and I dont know what it is.its like a 22 magnum but its a centrefire.

Did you have a box of them, or is that the only one? Sounds like they are worth some money if you have the box. I just answered my own question. It is late.. If you had the box, you would have known what it was... Just glad I could help.

Must be late mate.Its 3.55 pm over here.I would love a box of them,as you say i would have known what they were then.I got a box of assorted bullets from a closing down sale and this was in it.

Look like a 5.5 VeloDog to me. That odd little round was made for small framed revolvers in Europe and was popular enough that several European compaines loaded it in the past. Is still being loaded by Fiocchi last time i checked (at the Fiocchi web site...few US importers bering that ammo in).

It's pretty close to the dimentions of the .22 extra long ceneterfire, and that's a possibility.

Just checked again....still make it, and is imported.
