Could someone please tell me what the "f/s" is in the graphs in the following Hodgdon URL http://www.hodgdon.com/smokeless/extreme/page2.php#top .

Looks like its showing the velocity variations for extreme temp changes. The air temp can make a big difference in pressure with some powders. If you work up a max load at 20 deg F and then shoot it when its 95 deg out, you might get high pressure, and vice versa. The graph shows how little variation you get with the Extreme powders. The f/s means feet per second variations.

Feet per second is correct. The various companies producing reloading manuals all pretty much agree in their abbreviations. You're wise to ask though since there's not much room for error when using this data. Best wishes.

thanks to all of you. Just wanted to make sure because you put it calsibley there is room for error when reloading, it might just be you last.
