Bob had made his millions by stepping on the little people as he worked his way up the corporate ladder. At 40, he still lived a reclusive and lonely life in a penthouse on the 13th floor of an apartment building. He hated the fact that he had no friends but there was little he could do about it.
After celebrating his 41st birthday, Bob decided that he had had enough of the loneliness. He hired a group of eminent scientists and promised them that if they could make a clone of him, he would make each of them very rich. He told them that they had one year to finish the task and that they would have unlimited funding.
Lo and behold, exactly 1 year after Bob had made the offer, the scientists came out of the lab with a perfect clone of Bob. Bob was elated with the results.
At first, things seemed to be working out. Bob and his clone went to ball games, fishing, hiking, camping and just bumming around. Bob couldn't believe how his lonely life had changed.
However, after a few months, the clone started acting more and more like Bob. The clone started swearing, being abusive, and in general, just being offensive. The clone's nasty behavior was getting worse as each day passed.
One morning, Bob and the clone started having an argument during breakfast. The argument grew into a fight, and soon neighbors watched as Bob and the clone yelled at each other on the 13th floor balcony. Suddenly, in a fit of rage, Bob shoved the clone with all his might and the clone fell off the balcony. Bob watched as the clone shattered on the sidewalk below.
Five minutes later, the police were at the 13th floor penthouse to arrest Bob. Bob demanded to know what charges were being brought up against him.
"Making an obscene clone fall" replied the police.
