Imagine that you are Scottish in a Kilt firing from that position!

When I was a young E-5 in the Army living in the barracks, I went to the doctor because I developed some kind of rash on my back. The Army doctor actually prescribed some kind of disinfectant soap.
He asked me if I was married so my wife could scrub this stuff in while I was in the shower. I said I wasn't married so he told me to get my room mate to do it.
I got married as soon as I could.
I think that doctor was french ( with a little f)

I find good humor in that picture and I sure do not wish to spoil it.
I could not help but notice that should be a pretty stable "field rest". Upper legs and hips would be pretty solid?
Thanks for the good post.

All,
Remember, "Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion."
I can't recall who said that, but history seems to bear him out.

Yes he did.....but he didn't say it first. I will try to look up this very fine quote and see who originated it.
Also, one of my favorites " the French they are a funny race, they fight with their feet and xxxxxxxxx"
I self censored this quote. If you know it, you are old enough to know it, if you aren't old enough, you won't hear it from me first.

This is what I found for who made the original statement:
Jed Babbin, a former deputy undersecretary of defense in the first Bush administration, during a 30 January 2003 appearance on the political talk show Hardball. The full comment (offered during the course of a discussion about differences between U.S. and European policy towards Iraq) was: " . . . you know frankly, going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion. You just leave a lot of useless noisy baggage behind."
