Heard of a Mexifornian, but never a Texican. Kind of funny how other cultures see some of the Southern states.
Taken in Poland.

Bunch of other pics from the trip to Poland and London can be found at the link below - probably not terribly interesting things, but some stuff like horse guards can be found in days 18, 19. There is a bit of polish military "technology" spattered in the days before that too.

I went to a Texican restaurant in NW London area.
Won't try that again… The just don't have the right spices & peppers.
Worst thing I ever saw, though, was a kind of sausage in France, but I don't remember their name for it. Its contents is compressed in, and when you cut it open it springs out. The stuffing looks like white earthworms. The Americans I was with said they liked it, but I sure couldn't even look at it.

Actually, I remember John Wayne referring to Texicans in one of his movies - don't remember which one. Poles probably got it from that.

One of my worst dining experiences came in Virginia. I'd been living in Texas for about 10 years at the time and was back in Washington DC on a business trip. I made the mistake of ordering fajitas at my hotel in Virginia. It was really really bad (and I'm ususally pretty easy to please). I dearly miss good Tex-Mex food. California has okay stuff but it doesn't compare with what was routinely found in Texas. sigh. . .

texicans were residents of texas before it became a state. i assume that a few acctually refer to themselvs that way but most use texans now.
i dont care if you go anywhere outside the south mexican food just dont taste right. and if it is not in texas oklahoma it doesnt even compare
and when someone says enchilada with a british accent it just loses all apeal.

Gomer is correct. And I can't even imagine what Tex-Mex in Europe would taste like.....
Interesting picture.
