I am looking for a replacement blade for the front sight of my Ruger No. 1. The factory sight is a thin blade with a wider gold bead perched on top. I want a flat top post about the same width as the existing bead.

Any suggestions as to sight and sources?

Brownell's seems to have a good supply of aftermarket sights, you might also check Midway. I would get one of Brownell's catalogs as navigating their web sight can be pain.

try xs sight systems, they make ghost ring, and a front sight that is black w/ a white stripe in the middle. i have them on my marlin 38-55 cowboy. a great hunting sight.they do make some for #1's, i just checked.
