A mafia boss hired a deaf accountant to look after his money. He figured it would be handy that the bean counter wouldn’t be able to hear his business. This worked great until one day the Mafiosi discovered he was missing 10 million dollars. The boss called his attorney (who knew sign language) to question the accountant. As the mobster held a gun to the accountant’s head the lawyer signed “where is the money”, the accountant signed back “I don’t know what you are talking about”. The lawyer relayed this information and the boss cocked the gun and told him to tell the accountant he was going to kill him in five seconds if he didn’t tell where the money was. The lawyer signed the threat and the accountant signed back “the money is buried behind my garage”.
The lawyer turns to the mobster and says “he says you don’t have the guts to pull the trigger”.
