I was wondering about the process involved in forming the brass. Is this a .348 Winchester case necked up to .375 with no other changes; or are there changes in the shoulder that require fire-forming as well?
Thanks

Dutch,
All of the "Alaskan" case are an improve form of the .348 case and will involve expansion of the shoulder. There are a number of "approved" methods for doing such. Some use a small (15 -20 gr.) of a fast burning pistol powder (bullseye or such) and a cover (tissue paper to corn meal) and fire it straight up. Or fire a moderate load in a neck expanded case. All seem to work for those who recommend them, but have quirks that you will find.
On the other hand, you get a case that fits the chamber and will last several reloadings.
Hope this helps.
