I can't say where you could get a lanyard ring. Have you tried MidwayUSA.com?
I will say that your new play toy hurts my wrist just thinking about it.

i got the 8 3/8" about 2 months ago , its a blast to shoot. so far all if shot in it have been the Magtech 400gr's , i got some hornady 300 and 350's here. the magtech dont have much kick to them.

that will look cool on the 500

i just got home from the range with my 500 , my gf wanted to shoot it so i took her out. she shot 5 rounds in it. it's alil heavy for her to hold steady so she was shooting it low. it kicked her pertty good. she like it but says she dont plan to shoot it again tho

Like Mr. Rasmussem says Bowens probably makes the nicesest ones on the market. By the way welcome to the forum k_rasmussen. Hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

Thanks for the welcome. Here is a reply from Bowens to my email for info .
"Dear Sir:

Thanks for your inquiry.

As long as your .500 has the Hogue rubber grips, our S&W lanyard ring will work. indeed, all the prototying was done an a set of X500 grips installed on an M329 PD.

Hope this will help; thanks for your interest.

Sincerely yours,

Hamilton S. Bowen
