Recently acquired a BSA Martini Model 12 .22LR target rifle but it needs a firing pin and firing pin spring. Anyone have any idea where to find these parts?

It's been a long time since I've seen any parts available for these little target rifles, but www.Gun parts corp.com used to have some firing pins listed. The last time I broke one, I just drilled the old one and used a peice of drill rod inserted into the hole and silver soldered in place, then cut it to fit and radised it to suit. Some gunsmiths in your area might have a scrap box full of old springs that can be used for a replacement for the firing pin spring. If you are not comfortable with repairing the old firing pin, I'm sure a local gunsmith can do it at a reasonable cost. I also use this method when converting one from rimfire to center fire.
Best of luck, I'm sure you will enjoy your #12 when it's fixed. They are quite accurate.

Thanks for suggestions M1894. Found a spring at my local Ace Hardware store that seems to work and made a firing pin from a broken drill bit.

Once you get that little gem back in shooting condition you will derive a great deal of enjoyment from it. Don't forget to post your results.
