Does anyone know if a 9X19 CZ-52 can be reamed out to a 9X23 with out any problems and still function okay? I figure since the 7.62X25 has higher pressure and has a longer OAL than the 9X23 it should work okay. Any ones input would be appreciated.

I know of a fellow that took a 9mm Luger barrel for a CZ-52 and reamed it out to accept 9mm Largo cartridges with excellent results. As I recall 9mm Largo is very close to 9X23 both in size and ballistics.

Size maybe, ballistics and pressure no where close. I've seen a few writeups and the largo is a low pressure cartrige. I am however relatively confident that the cz can handle the 9x23. I would suggest a good heavier recoil spring and a buffer. I'd also pay attention to how far the brass flies. 6-10' great, 10-25' get a heavier spring, in your face-6' get a lighter spring. I believe the good results with the largo were probably because it throws a 50% heavier projectile which offsets the recoil to about that of the 7.62x25's lighter faster bullet. It also wouldn't hurt to handload your 9x23 starting with light to midrange loads and evaluate pressure on the brass and wear on the internals of the gun.

A couple of years ago Makarov.com had 9 mm Largo chambered after market barrels (made in Korea, I believe) but they are long since gone. Most of the Largo loads I have seen look pretty tame in that many old pistols chambered for the load are not nearly as strong as a CZ-52 with its roller system. It probably could be done, but I would sure look for a really good gunsmith and ask him.
