It can pretty much handle any .44 Magnum load that out there, yes?
I mean anything the Redhawk can shoot the Blackhawk should be able to shoot, correct?

In terms of factory ammo, and with regard to pressure yes, the SBH will handle the same levels as a SRH.
However, the SRH has a longer cylinder than does the SBH, and as such handles ammo with a longer overall length than possible with a standard SBH. Beartooth Bullets manufactures several bullets expressly designed to take full advantage of the longer cylinder length of the SRH, and thus allow significanly higher velocity loads with the SRH with a given bullet weight without creating higher pressures.
However, if you are only talking factory ammo, either gun will digest any manufacturer's current production offerings.

Thanks, Marshall. I should have specified factory loads. I meant factory and you have answered my question.
I've jones'd for a New Model Blackhawk in .44 Mag for sometime but wondered if it was as stout as the SRH when it came to factory load pressures.

Say, Marshall...what about one of those Ruger 50th Anniversary Flattops? Think they'd be tough enough for a hot factory .44 Mag?
