Okay,

I have not seen anyone mention the best place to put the swivel post on the feed tube and am wondering if there is a preferred location by most.

I read somewhere putting up against the forward barrel band [ behind it ] would prevent the pin from damaging the tube under recoil.

My lever has this mid point from the rear and front barrel bands. Is this something that should be moved?

I struggled with the same issue and finally decided to take it off all together. I look at other guns from time to time and they seem to be all over the place. Let us know if you find the "right" answer. (grin)
