"Model 100 Ted Williams 30-30,side feed, top eject, nice condition. This rifle is late 50s or early 60s made by Winchester for Sears.Price is 250 or best offer."

I'm going to go look at this gun tomorrow night.
I understand this is the Win 94 sold by Sears.
Is this a desirable Winchester?
Any notable differences vs the real Winchester?
Would this be a "Pre-" or "Post-" 1964, or could it be either?
How to tell which?

Reasonable price if as described?

I already have a nice mint 1981 94, but I'd like to have a pre-64 shooter if possible.

Winchester made them for Sears, but from what I've seen, they don't carry the value that a Winchester brand does. As a shooter, there's no difference. Work your best price. I just paid $360 for a 1949 Model 94 a couple of weeks ago. It was in very nice condition. Depending on your local market, $250 doesn't sound too bad. Good luck with whatever you choose. The most important thing is to make your decision and then don't worry about it afterwards. Fifty dollars one way or another doesn't mean much six months from now if it's a rifle that you want.

Model 100 Ted Williams are all post-1964, there are no pre-64 Model 100s.
