Does anyone know where I can find a scope mount for my ithaca 20 and 16ga deer guns ? I see B-Square makes one for the 12 ga receiver, but I can find one for the 16 and 20 ga. I will not drill on either receiver. Any suggestions ?

The only one I see is for the 12 too. I used to have the 12 guage. Have not seen the 16. Are the recievers maybe the same size?? I am not sure and don't even see any mounts for the 20ga. either. Might measure the recievers and see if they might be the same. Other than that the only way I see is to drill the top for weaver type mounts. I prefer the saddle mounts myself.

Yeah, and I absolutely hate that idea. I may have to see if I can find a spare already drilled and tapped for the scope.

I had mine drilled and tapped for a one piece Leupold steel base. I don't see much point in using the other mounts as they aren't rigid enough to be reliable.....slug's aren't the most accurate projectile, even with a rifled barrel. They need all the help they can get, a scope mount that isn't stable really isn't any help. I will say that the only reason I bought my Model 37 12 gauge was for shooting slugs at deer. Your use may well be different.

Birds, rabbits and squirrels as well as deer. The Leopold or Weaver setup is tuff to beat for stability but I can't force myself to drill into them ole pumpers. If I can't find a saddle mount, i'll buy one already setup for a scope.

This post got me wondering if possibly you could drill new holes in the saddle mount itself to line up with the guns existing holes. I don't know, but it is possibly a thought that might work.
