Area 6B :D
Whitetail - area 22 - Oct 27 to Nov 5
Elk - area 22(N) - Oct 20 to Oct 26
Note the continuation of dates from elk hunting to deer in the same unit!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Onlyest thing is - is this bum knee of mine gonna be able to stand the stress and strain of the Rim Country hunting?

The luck of the draw worked in your favor.
I hope your knee can take it.
get you one of those motorized skate boards!
Just as I predicted, Tom -
Knew full well that I would get drawn because of the injured knee!
Had submitted my applications a couple days previous to the accident and didn't think to try cancelling them until after the deadline.
Know a young fella that helped with the deer hunt a couple years ago out of Payson. Think I'll give him a call and see if he knows where some barnyard raised deer and elk may be hanging out that I could hobble up to and shoot at pointblank range!!! :p
Takes such an effort and chance to draw elk tags anymore, sure hate to waste it. Gonna tell my surgeon he'll just have to brace me up sufficiently so's the hunts can be made.

I reckon if I was in Kdub's predicament I would have to low crawl the whole way. LOL Seems I did that forever in the Marines anyway. At least it would be more pleasant with the critters instead of a DI giving you soft spoken words of encouragement.......
You'll Probably Feel Better By Then. Just Bring That Cold Bottle Of Scotch With You-
By The Way, The Last Few Months At Our East Camp, Theres Been A Big Lone Male Coyote That Hangs Around Camp.
He Likes To Start Singing Around Midnight.
Me And A Friend Drove Up To Camp Saturday Just Before Dark And There He Was, About 75 Yards From Camp.
He Never Felt The 223 Hit Him.
To Tell You The Truth, I'm Going To Miss Him.
This Was Not Normal Coyote Behavior
You Know Most Of Them Travel In A Pack And Cover A Lot Of Ground. This Guy Was A Home Body.
Since I Leave My Dog Out At Night, While In Camp, Ol Doogie Probably Feels A Little Safer
Anyway, Good Luck With The Knee, It'll Be Alright!
Things work out, still giving heavy consideration to a Cundiff whitetail hunt along 'bout December! :p

 ANYBODY HUNTED IN 6B? I always did 6A. Where is the best spot? We have 4x Quads so distance aint a problem.
Never hunted on top of the Rim, Zeppie - couldn't really tell you much about it. Seems anywhere either side of SR 260 and along Clear Creek should be pretty good.
Hey, TPV - check your PM's.
