How is the trigger pull on the dak version?
Also in your experiance is it best to avoid DA/SA's because of the pull difference? Or is it easy to adjust too?
I would rather have a lighter pull, and I think the listed dak is 7.5 lbs pull and the da/sa is 10/4.5 lbs.
Is she worth the money or should I look into a different one?

As far as traditional DA/SA pistols go, the Sig is one of the best, imho. Ive owned one and thought that it had one of the best triggers out of the box for a .45acp that ive come across. Those listed poundages seem high, but I dont know. I would look at one in your local gunshop and see for yourself. The whole Sig family of handguns are great and eat everything. While they are relatively expensive, for the money you get what you pay for. Glocks have around a 6.5lb trigger out of the box, and im not sure what the Kahr pistols have, but its probably in that area. Those are also great pistols. The springfield xd pistols have a good following, but ive never shot one.

The DAK is one of the smoothest trigger pulls I have ever tried. It is however really LONG, but that's how it was designed. I want a DAK gun eventually but right now I am happy with my DA/SA

Ok you must have been talking to a GLOCK guy who probably participates in IDPA or some other competition, because those are the only guys, it seems, who complain about the DA/SA triggers. Personally, I like the DA/SA trigger and it doesn't take much to get used to, if you get really serious into competition and every microsecond counts you will probably have worked on it yourself or sent it off to be worked on anyway.
The DA part of the trigger is easily adjusted for the DIY, if you want to learn how to do it pop over to SIGforum (www.sigforum.com) and head to the SIG armorer section, very good instructions by Bruce Gray (AKA grayguns). I worked on mine and got it down to about 8-8.5# and really smooth now, more smooth than the factory.
Just a heads up of what can be done, SIGs are awesome guns, worth every penny. Worry not about the DA/SA trigger get a gun that feels good and is comfortable.
FWIW - I have a W.German P220 and I love it alot, I also have a few others all DA/SA.

Is she worth the money or should I look into a different one?Have not tried the DAK trigger but am satisfied with my SA/DA trigger since I do most of my shooting at the local range and I like to use my trigger in SA mode. Believe the SA trigger is close to 4 lbs. which is just fine for punching holes in paper. If needed, the DA trigger could be put into use immediately after which, the lighter SA trigger comes into play. If you are looking for a light trigger, the SA/DA trigger is what you want. Like the others, I am totally into SIGs. There are five of them in my family ranging from P220s, P226s, and a P228. IMHO, they are accurate, absolutely reliable, and rugged as all get out.
