Greetings from the new guy!
I saw a model 94 cowboy limited with octagon barrel and stright grip today. Could someone tell me how many of these limited's were made and how many were made in this caliber? I had never seen one before and did not know that they ever made one in this caliber.
TIA, Blackheart

I am not sure what the "Limited" means, but the "Cowboy" is still made today. Assuming you are talking about the model 1894. I know you said 94, but just wanted to be sure.

Hey Blackheart
The rifle you saw is a CCL (Cowboy carbine limited). This was a special run for Davidsons in 1999, they had 1000 made. The serial #s start with CCL0XXXX. This was the first of the CCL's. CCLII was in 44-40 in 2000 for 325 units,CCLIII was in 45 colt in 2001 for 1000. CCLIV was in 32-20 in 2004 for 1000. The carbines are all the same configuration. 20" octogon barrel staight stock with no checkering, the wood is fancier with a slimer forstock.

Thanks Mjack, Do you know if the total run of 1000 was in 41 magnum? Also, did I read correctly that you are in CO.
Thanks, blackheart
