I'm so proud of Dad's old Winchester I could just about bust. I had five more rounds to shoot but I got so teary eyed thinking about him I couldn't shoot them.

I hear ya Ken. I had all my dad's guns but gave them to the son as I just couldn't deal with it.

My scoped 336 target for the match was shot with my Dad's rifle. I have shot a couple deer with that rifle. Last year my son (4 years old) and I shot a deer with the rifle. It was the best feeling in the world!

Yes sir, it is about a 1953 built Model 94. Just a standard 20" carbine. I've shot better groups with my Marlins but I dang sure had to put more work into them to do so. Maybe just luck the first thing I fed the Winchester agreed with it.
