I have the chance to hunt this season on some private land, although it is a good ways from home. Ill avail myself of the opportunity, but something closer to home would save time and I wouldnt wear out my welcome with my bud. ;)

There used to be a lot of public land in Aiken county up until about 10 years ago. Now there is almost none. The land is still there, but it's not public access anymore.

Is there some sympathetic type who might be willing to offer me some ideas and maybe a place closer to home to hunt with my son?
